I love reading reviews of books like this, that are surprisingly interesting, virtually unknown, and not reviewed anywhere else.
This book sounds surprisingly kind of good and also a bit like Silverberg's Dying Inside, which is also all about the tangles of sex and desire and the inner experience of it.
