I double-confirmed it! That's how weird it was when I first turned up that info while looking for a cover jpeg! SHOCKING TWISTS ABOUND. It was funny, though, because when I wasn't even very far into it, I said, "This is pretty well-written. I wonder if I'd know this author outside of their porn pseudonym."
Tbf, I have no idea how it would read going into it with higher expectations, but it was a pleasant surprise after going in thinking there was a chance it would just be wall-to-wall morally reprehensible sleaze.
