Aww, thanks. And more information below than you perhaps require, but:
I kept writing like it was going to go on a track that would lead to me doing a complete rehash of The Waste Lands and maybe even the first part of Wizard and Glass, which would kill me and probably not be enjoyable for you, either. Originally, the Nadine/Dayna sex didn't happen at all on Earth--Dayna was just visiting her when Roland came through and that whole scene happened--but then there was just this long and fairly pointless rehashing of The Waste Lands, with the plan being that Nadine would think she was safe from Flagg until they ran into him in Topeka, whereupon she would flip out and then give up on trying to be safe at all and finally consummate her UST with Dayna. It was long. And not good.
Inside Men is an immensely slashy crime thriller where a surprisingly good-hearted gangster who has been wronged teams up with an intense prosecutor desperate to make his name and the two of them go after a group of high-powered businessmen and politicians who are secretly pulling most of the country's strings. The plot is pretty good, but I feel like the main reasons to watch are the performances of the two leads and their great chemistry with each other.
