Thank you so much for making something for me! Hurt/comfort is exactly where my id lives, so I'm so thrilled this exchange is running again. Since the tags tend to generally act in their own prompts, I've just tried to flesh each section out with what I like about the character dynamics in question. Fandom-specific DNW: any Endgame canon after the Thanos-beheading.
The interaction we saw between Tony and Nebula was definitely my favorite part of Endgame, and it made me want All the Stories of them on a prolonged post-Snap road-trip through the stars, scraping by and making do and growing ever closer. Most of my prompts are in a kind of vaguely imagined AU where they're able to survive in space and Carol doesn't find them (or at least not anytime soon), but I welcome any and all setups that get these two in h/c situations together. Maybe the Battle of New York goes very badly, and Thanos takes Tony as one of his Children? Basically, I love anything that gets them in an us-against-the-world situation where everyone else they know and love is (probably) dead, and they're just clinging to each other.

I love all the awkwardness inherent in this relationship, complete with Colleen being understandably prickly and ambivalent towards Ward and Ward not really knowing her outside of her being important to Danny. They've both been used pretty ruthlessly by the Hand, who manipulated them both into complicity, but they were used in different ways and with different levels of knowledge/feelings about it, and it would be really interesting to explore that. (Which is one of the reasons why I was so intrigued by that "forced to go undercover as former identity" idea.) I like the idea of them being tied together by their mutual care for Danny--which then, of course, forces them into situations where they wind up being allies. Basically, plunge them into all the difficult cooperation and reluctant vulnerability, take them to the brink until they show a surprising loyalty to each other, and I'll eat it up with a spoon.

I just really like it when bad things happen to Ward Meachum and he looks sad. I love putting him in situations where he has to try to be heroic, especially when it winds up intersecting with his struggle to be a better person and all his Harold-honed instincts to hide or disregard the fact that he's hurting. And since he spends so long in season one hiding the truth about Harold, I really like anything that brings all that abuse and complicated pain to the foreground and lets him and Danny both really see and admit how fucked up it all was. And apparently I have a particular dark appreciation for some bleak back-story of Harold/Ward noncon, brought to you by Harold's creepy cheek caress, so I'm all in for any angsty incestuous rape backstory that horrifies Danny when the truth finally comes out.

I adore the closeness and intimacy of their relationship, especially since we see real stress sometimes put on their friendship. Hawkeye's more of an emotional live-wire, while BJ has a more self-contained vibe, but when push comes to shove, Hawkeye can pull it together to be a rock for his friends, and BJ can lose his temper in a gratifyingly protective fashion. (BJ getting angrily protective of Hawkeye is one of my favorite things ever.) They just intersect really, really well and in a way that makes their relationship a treat for h/c, and their dynamic also works well for A/B/O with omega Hawkeye and protective alpha BJ.
If their relationship is explicitly sexual/romantic and Peg is mentioned, please just have her knowing and being okay with it. I'm totally fine with guilty, fraught pining or romantic ambiguity where it's totally possible that they're in love and just not admitting it, I just don't want BJ actively choosing to cheat on Peg. (Exception: it's okay in A/B/O if it's basically him needing to help Hawkeye through a heat.)

I love the combination of genuine sniping, playful ribbing, and real caring between these two, which means I'm a particular sucker for situations that push them to reveal more and more of that caring (and maybe even push the caring itself to different levels). So confronting either one of them with huge, unfortunate circumstances--or unfortunate revelations, hence the "rape backstory" tags--that need to be dealt with is just catnip for me. I love awkward comfort, prickly tenderness, uncertain interactions, pining, Hawkeye having to temporarily pause (or interrupt) the jokes, Charles having to break through Winchester reticence and propriety, and basically just everything about their dynamic.

These two are one of my top het ships of all time, and I also love them as an unlikely-at-first friendship. I just really love their warmth and the way their mutual appreciation of each other's skills and values flowers over time; they wind up having so many great, affectionate exchanges while still also having different approaches to life, and it's great. I love putting them in isolated or otherwise vulnerable situations where they get to support, comfort, bond with each other, and generally be more open with each other than they would back at camp (if it's earlier in the show's run). Admiration for each other's skills, Margaret getting a kick out of Hawkeye's jokes or getting in on them herself, mutual respect, playful teasing, and high-pressure situations are all magnificent.

I love Ethan's relationship with any iteration of his team, so feel free to assemble your favorite version for any team prompts. I just really like the ensemble dynamic with all the banter, competence, different styles, and mutual loyalty--and of course, Luther and Ethan have all of that too, in miniature, and it would be great to see more of their closeness, whether romantic or platonic. The IMF missions provide so many great opportunities for whump, and I love the possibilities of Ethan having to carry on despite the hurt before he's finally able to collapse/let his team tend to help/etc. And I also have a soft spot for Super Dramatic hurt/comfort situations like sensory deprivation tanks and slow-acting poisons that will kill you in twenty-four hours. This is just a really ideal fandom for h/c.

There can never be enough Kirk hurt/comfort for me. I love his blend of warmth, openness, stoicism, and a profound dislike of important situations slipping out of his control; putting him in situations, whether ordinary or deliciously OTT, where he has to rely on the people he loves and trusts is always great. I really like the way his Tarsus IV backstory can intersect with any canon timeline h/c--so being starved during any imprisonment would be a particular torture, and being deaged to a time closer to his trauma would have really interesting effects. I'm also really fond of anything that plays into his canon tendency to overwork, so things like struggling to carry on through pain or exhaustion are always great. And I also really like messing with the way his image matters to him, on any scale from the public turning on him (like the other captains shunning him during "Court Martial") to something where suddenly no one remembers him and there are no records to prove his existence. And in addition to loving Kirk/Spock, Kirk & Spock, and Kirk & Spock & Bones, I also love the whole rest of the crew and the feeling of the crew as a cohesive unit, so that can play in as much as you like.

Some of these prompts are tailor-made for Wiseguy. I loved designing a spectrum here from the stuff that's basically a routine part of the show, like revisiting traumatic situations via debriefings, to delightfully, darkly melodramatic tropes like Buried Alive and Hurt Will Kill Character in Specific Time. These are all really built for great character interaction, too, with Frank and Lifeguard often forced to witness whatever Vinnie's going through--I can just imagine them frantically trying to bail Vinnie out of an undercover situation where he's been dosed with truth serum, for example. These three all just have a great underlying warmth to their interactions beneath the humor and sense of purpose, and I love it.

This is a more complex relationship than most of my other h/c requests, and I love it: the twist of who Sonny thinks Vinnie is vs. who Vinnie actually is makes all of this interestingly tragic in a really lovely way. Or sometimes, maybe, more optimistic--if Sonny gets amnesia, does that let Vinnie have a chance at having a relationship with him without the mob history? But there's also so much potential for dark but beautiful hurt/comfort here, with Sonny getting violent revenge on Vinnie's behalf, Vinnie feeling guilty for comforting or being comforted, their relationship being so intimate and genuinely close but built on lies, other people knowing they're close and using it against them… I love intimate pining (cigarette-sharing, clothes-sharing, possessiveness), angsty sex with tragedy on the horizon, and suggestive tenderness.
I know I listed Vinnie going over to a life of crime as a DNW, but I'm fine with him doing that temporarily for the amnesia prompt if Vinnie's the one who loses his memory, because I do love the idea of him being pushed and pulled for a while between the person Sonny tells him he is and his own instincts/things he eventually learns about himself from Frank, his brother, his mom, etc.

I love all the awkwardness inherent in this relationship, complete with Colleen being understandably prickly and ambivalent towards Ward and Ward not really knowing her outside of her being important to Danny. They've both been used pretty ruthlessly by the Hand, who manipulated them both into complicity, but they were used in different ways and with different levels of knowledge/feelings about it, and it would be really interesting to explore that. (Which is one of the reasons why I was so intrigued by that "forced to go undercover as former identity" idea.) I like the idea of them being tied together by their mutual care for Danny--which then, of course, forces them into situations where they wind up being allies. Basically, plunge them into all the difficult cooperation and reluctant vulnerability, take them to the brink until they show a surprising loyalty to each other, and I'll eat it up with a spoon.

I just really like it when bad things happen to Ward Meachum and he looks sad. I love putting him in situations where he has to try to be heroic, especially when it winds up intersecting with his struggle to be a better person and all his Harold-honed instincts to hide or disregard the fact that he's hurting. And since he spends so long in season one hiding the truth about Harold, I really like anything that brings all that abuse and complicated pain to the foreground and lets him and Danny both really see and admit how fucked up it all was. And apparently I have a particular dark appreciation for some bleak back-story of Harold/Ward noncon, brought to you by Harold's creepy cheek caress, so I'm all in for any angsty incestuous rape backstory that horrifies Danny when the truth finally comes out.

I adore the closeness and intimacy of their relationship, especially since we see real stress sometimes put on their friendship. Hawkeye's more of an emotional live-wire, while BJ has a more self-contained vibe, but when push comes to shove, Hawkeye can pull it together to be a rock for his friends, and BJ can lose his temper in a gratifyingly protective fashion. (BJ getting angrily protective of Hawkeye is one of my favorite things ever.) They just intersect really, really well and in a way that makes their relationship a treat for h/c, and their dynamic also works well for A/B/O with omega Hawkeye and protective alpha BJ.
If their relationship is explicitly sexual/romantic and Peg is mentioned, please just have her knowing and being okay with it. I'm totally fine with guilty, fraught pining or romantic ambiguity where it's totally possible that they're in love and just not admitting it, I just don't want BJ actively choosing to cheat on Peg. (Exception: it's okay in A/B/O if it's basically him needing to help Hawkeye through a heat.)

I love the combination of genuine sniping, playful ribbing, and real caring between these two, which means I'm a particular sucker for situations that push them to reveal more and more of that caring (and maybe even push the caring itself to different levels). So confronting either one of them with huge, unfortunate circumstances--or unfortunate revelations, hence the "rape backstory" tags--that need to be dealt with is just catnip for me. I love awkward comfort, prickly tenderness, uncertain interactions, pining, Hawkeye having to temporarily pause (or interrupt) the jokes, Charles having to break through Winchester reticence and propriety, and basically just everything about their dynamic.

These two are one of my top het ships of all time, and I also love them as an unlikely-at-first friendship. I just really love their warmth and the way their mutual appreciation of each other's skills and values flowers over time; they wind up having so many great, affectionate exchanges while still also having different approaches to life, and it's great. I love putting them in isolated or otherwise vulnerable situations where they get to support, comfort, bond with each other, and generally be more open with each other than they would back at camp (if it's earlier in the show's run). Admiration for each other's skills, Margaret getting a kick out of Hawkeye's jokes or getting in on them herself, mutual respect, playful teasing, and high-pressure situations are all magnificent.

I love Ethan's relationship with any iteration of his team, so feel free to assemble your favorite version for any team prompts. I just really like the ensemble dynamic with all the banter, competence, different styles, and mutual loyalty--and of course, Luther and Ethan have all of that too, in miniature, and it would be great to see more of their closeness, whether romantic or platonic. The IMF missions provide so many great opportunities for whump, and I love the possibilities of Ethan having to carry on despite the hurt before he's finally able to collapse/let his team tend to help/etc. And I also have a soft spot for Super Dramatic hurt/comfort situations like sensory deprivation tanks and slow-acting poisons that will kill you in twenty-four hours. This is just a really ideal fandom for h/c.

There can never be enough Kirk hurt/comfort for me. I love his blend of warmth, openness, stoicism, and a profound dislike of important situations slipping out of his control; putting him in situations, whether ordinary or deliciously OTT, where he has to rely on the people he loves and trusts is always great. I really like the way his Tarsus IV backstory can intersect with any canon timeline h/c--so being starved during any imprisonment would be a particular torture, and being deaged to a time closer to his trauma would have really interesting effects. I'm also really fond of anything that plays into his canon tendency to overwork, so things like struggling to carry on through pain or exhaustion are always great. And I also really like messing with the way his image matters to him, on any scale from the public turning on him (like the other captains shunning him during "Court Martial") to something where suddenly no one remembers him and there are no records to prove his existence. And in addition to loving Kirk/Spock, Kirk & Spock, and Kirk & Spock & Bones, I also love the whole rest of the crew and the feeling of the crew as a cohesive unit, so that can play in as much as you like.

Some of these prompts are tailor-made for Wiseguy. I loved designing a spectrum here from the stuff that's basically a routine part of the show, like revisiting traumatic situations via debriefings, to delightfully, darkly melodramatic tropes like Buried Alive and Hurt Will Kill Character in Specific Time. These are all really built for great character interaction, too, with Frank and Lifeguard often forced to witness whatever Vinnie's going through--I can just imagine them frantically trying to bail Vinnie out of an undercover situation where he's been dosed with truth serum, for example. These three all just have a great underlying warmth to their interactions beneath the humor and sense of purpose, and I love it.

This is a more complex relationship than most of my other h/c requests, and I love it: the twist of who Sonny thinks Vinnie is vs. who Vinnie actually is makes all of this interestingly tragic in a really lovely way. Or sometimes, maybe, more optimistic--if Sonny gets amnesia, does that let Vinnie have a chance at having a relationship with him without the mob history? But there's also so much potential for dark but beautiful hurt/comfort here, with Sonny getting violent revenge on Vinnie's behalf, Vinnie feeling guilty for comforting or being comforted, their relationship being so intimate and genuinely close but built on lies, other people knowing they're close and using it against them… I love intimate pining (cigarette-sharing, clothes-sharing, possessiveness), angsty sex with tragedy on the horizon, and suggestive tenderness.
I know I listed Vinnie going over to a life of crime as a DNW, but I'm fine with him doing that temporarily for the amnesia prompt if Vinnie's the one who loses his memory, because I do love the idea of him being pushed and pulled for a while between the person Sonny tells him he is and his own instincts/things he eventually learns about himself from Frank, his brother, his mom, etc.
