- It's revealed that von Stalhein has covertly foiled plots against Biggles/long-distance saved his life before, even when they were still working on opposite sides.
- Soviet experiments land von Stalhein with useful but painful-or-draining-to-use superpowers. Using them to save Biggles, Biggles reacting to the effect they have….
- Post-Hatchet, EvS encounters the phenomenon of Biggles on strong painkillers or other drugs, which apparently turn him into a cheerful limpet who keeps draping himself over EvS at every opportunity. EvS hypothetically wants to maintain his dignity, but he finds cuddly Biggles irresistible, so he can't bring himself to mind. (Potential bonus: Algy wondering why this has to happen in front of him. Is he cursed?)
- Any kind of gift-giving! What's a post-Hatchet/post-Looks Back Christmas like?
- EvS is trapped in a time loop, and he has to turn to Biggles and Co. for help because Biggles is one of the few people who will a) believe him and b) treat this as a totally solvable problem, don't worry, Erich, we've got this. *pat pat*
- Biggles and EvS making up for lost time by having a lot of sex, and particularly enjoying this new sense of discovering each other.
- After years of resisting Biggles's advice, von Stalhein finds it satisfying to just let go and trust him to take the lead on occasion, either in the field or in bed.
- Anything that features Biggles and EvS displaying a shocking amount of mutual trust (and that being rewarded).
- Algy is reluctantly won over—at least a bit—by von Stalhein doing something selfless or caretaker-y for Biggles post-Hatchet.
- Biggles is sick, and Algy and EvS form an unlikely team to take care of him and bond in the process.
- Algy and EvS have to go undercover together for some reason, maybe with Algy posing as handler for their defector spy? Forced proximity produces ample irritation but also some understanding and respect and potentially even reluctant liking.
- Any kind of hurt/comfort, from the extreme to the mild, with any of them as the hurt party—or mutually hurt! I love people needing to sacrifice themselves for each other to some extent, as well as things like sidelining their injuries to focus on the mission while the other person worries about them. Things like delirium and hallucinations are also always great. I really love every kind of h/c.
Algy & Biggles
Algy/Biggles
- I especially like WWI and interwar settings for them.
- Mutually supporting each other, especially providing backup for each other's frayed nerves, each insisting or contriving to make sure the other gets some rest or recuperates properly, etc.
- They get stuck behind enemy lines and wind up cuddling/huddling for warmth and maybe having an intimate shippy moment, whether it's sex or just something sweet like a kiss on the nape of the neck. Just generally being cold and grubby and on edge and finding comfort in each other.
- I love them going out for a picnic at the start of Black Peril! More of the two of them just taking adorable little jaunts together. Maybe one of them finds a place first and likes showing it to the other?
- They would like to have an actual romantic moment, but all their adventures and mishaps keep getting in the way, so they just have to roll with it and improvise, which they do very well anyway. :D
- One of them has to torture the other while they're undercover, and angst ensues.
- Algy has a particularly good sense of when Biggles has hit a kind of internal limit and needs a break from leading the team, so he knows exactly when to get Biggles away from work (and perhaps take his mind off things).
- Someone threatens Algy to get at Biggles, which is a major mistake on their part.
- Blowjobs to distract from pain or to lift the mood during a difficult recovery.
- All the post-Terai comfort for Algy!
Algy/Ginger
- I prefer Ginger to be out of his teens before he starts his relationship with Algy.
- Established relationship sex under various hot-sweet-funny domestic contexts, like sleepy sex, morning sex, sex when one of them is in a bad temper over being injured, first time back together again after having been separated for a while, etc.
- Algy is trying to bottle up his feelings, which works until Ginger gets hurt protecting or rescuing him, whereupon he can't handle Ginger having gotten hurt/almost died on his account. Ginger having no idea why Algy is so upset about this and then figuring it out and being delighted. ;-)
- Any tender hurt/comfort, either as the tipping point of their relationship or once they're already together.
- One of them needs to flirt with/charm someone for the sake of the job, and this either sets off a fun, mutually enjoyable bit of possessiveness (if they're already together) or triggers a feelings realization. "He's flirting with him … he could flirt with me! That would be so much better!"
- A first kiss. Does it escalate from mutual teasing? Is it an "I'm so glad you're still alive" kiss?
- One of them roping Biggles and/or Bertie into helping him choose a birthday gift or small anniversary token for the other.
- Drunken confessions of feelings!
- One of them temporarily loses his voice, but luckily, the other is very good at understanding him via gestures, facial expressions, miming, etc. Maybe they're so good at understanding each other because they're already in a relationship, or maybe they haven't confessed any feelings yet and the one without the voice eventually has to come up with a non-verbal demonstration for something that they'd been having trouble talking about anyway.
